Connemara Farmhouse and Cottage are part of this island’s history. Nestling into the hillside, these traditional built Scillonian buildings look across to the flower fields of the uninhabited Eastern Isles, home of many seabirds and seals. Both properties are double-glazed and fully carpeted.

The Farmhouse is the larger of the two properties and accommodates 6 people in its 3 bedrooms – 1 double, 1 triple and 1 single 2ft 6ins (child’s bed). The spacious living area is comfortably furnished and features a wood-burning stove. The kitchen has recently been renovated.

The Cottage accommodates 5 people in 3 bedrooms – 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single 2ft 6ins (child’s bed). In this property there is a separate lounge and dining area that has an open fireplace.

Connemara Chalets are a little further down the farm track in amongst the flower fields – one compact field each! These are cedarwood chalets and accommodate 5 people in 2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 bunkbed with a single 2ft 6ins (child’s bed). Both the chalets are fully carpeted.

 

The properties are all comfortably furnished and are being constantly upgraded with colour TV, radio and hairdryers etc. The kitchens are well equipped with microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, electric cookers etc. All bathrooms contain baths and electric showers. The properties also have spacious gardens with garden furniture.

There are shared laundry facilities available that include an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer, with metered electricity supply. Cots and high chairs are also available. We do not supply linen or towels but there is Scilly Linen Hire on St Mary’s for which we supply details on confirmation of booking.

An essential holiday and travel insurance has been arranged for the Isles of Scilly and a form will be sent when a booking is made.

Water is supplied from a private borewell. Filtered and UV treated, it is regularly tested by the local authority. We do not accept dogs.

All accommodation is available from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be cleaned and vacated by 10am on the day of departure. We are happy to transport your luggage to and from the quay on St Martin’s and to arrange for your shopping to be waiting for you on arrival.
